Questions About the
Placement Eligibility Exam

What people ask before they apply.

Why Is There a Fee?

It is a commitment fee. Placement asks a great deal of a candidate and of us, so we ask everyone who sits the exam to commit to seeing it through. It keeps the candidates on our Hiring page serious, which is what makes hiring partners trust it. On selected courses the fee is already covered.

Is the Fee Included With My Course?

On selected Deep Track and Fast Track courses, yes: look for Eligibility Exam Included on the course's page. Self-Paced courses are for upskilling and do not include it.

What Does Placement Eligible Mean?

You have passed the exam, so your profile is listed on our Hiring page. Hiring partners, partner companies and other organisations use that page to find candidates, and they can see your work and reach you directly.

Can I Retake the Exam?

Yes. Once the exam is included with your course or paid for, you can sit it as many times as you like, on the monthly exam dates. The Terms and Conditions set out the details.

What If I Miss This Month's Exam?

It is held on the 20th of every month, so the next sitting is never far away. Apply when you are ready and give it your best.

I Finished My Course a While Ago. Can I Still Sit It?

If you finished a live course in the last six months, yes. Beyond that, joining a new live course brings you back in, along with everything that comes with it.

What Happens After I Apply?

Your place in that month's sitting is held, and our team will be in touch with the details before exam day.
